To learn more about the advanced experience of Chengdu Jiaolong industrial port in Urban integration industry and regional integration development, on May 05, 2024, Mr. Chhay Chingheang, President of the Cambodian Association for Trade and Investment Development, and his colleagues visited Chengdu Jiaolong industrial Port. Mr. Huang Yulong, Vice Chairman of Chengdu Jiaolong Industrial Port Management Committee, Mr. Xu Guangda, Vice Chairman of Management Committee and other relevant departments attended this visiting. Mr. Huang Yujiao, a member of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, vice chairman of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and chairman of the Hong Kong Jiaolong Group, also attended the forum.

Mr. Chhay Chingheang and his colleagues inspected the non-public economic building of Chengdu Jiaolong indudtiral Port at the demonstration area for the future work, factory building renovation, power generation project, route change for the air-park, roof renovation, Sky Road project, Replacement of wastewater treatment plant, Baihe Ecological Expo Park Project, transformation and improvement of industrial and coastal city landscape projects, gaining an in-depth understanding of the successful experience of Chengdu Jiaolong industrial port in the development of industrial integration.

During the discussion, Mr. Chhay Chingheang and his colleagues had an in-depth discussion on the development philosophy and business model of Chengdu Jiaolong Industry Port over the past 20 years, and highly appreciated the innovation since Initial establishment. He emphasized that Chengdu Jiaolong Industry Port is not only an industrial park, nor is it just a tourist destination. It is a new city with warmth and depth that integrates industry and city development. In the development process, it always adheres to the people-oriented approach and serves the general public. It brings more happiness and satisfaction; it has always used its own strength to contribute to the region and the country. especially the transformation of the roof of Jiaolong Port – the carbon neutral project Sky Road, which has not occupied any land. Under the premise of reducing resources, it actively responds to the national “3060” dual carbon goals and contributes to the afforestation of the national carbon. Mr. Chhay Chingheang hopes that the Jiaolong Group will replicate this successful experience in Cambodia, and sincerely invites the Jiaolong team to Cambodia for inspection and guidance.
