Arrival in the Kingdom of Cambodia by Jiaolong Group Delegation and was welcomed by Chhay Chingheang Group management team.

Visiting of 147 hectares of Koh Sneh land located next to the Mekong River in Chroy Pisey village, Teuk Khleang commune and Boeung Krom Leu village, Boeung Krom commune, Lvea Em district, Kandal Province to study the potential for investment and development as a tourist area, resort, residence and for commercial location etc. Then continue to check the situation around Phnom Penh and AEON Mall Sen Sok City.

1. Courtesy call and discussion at the Council for the Development of Cambodia

On June 17, at 8:00 AM, a delegation from Jiaolong Group and the management team of Chhay Chingheang Group with their colleagues paid a courtesy call on the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), which has H.E Yun Heng, Deputy Secretary-General of the Cambodian Investment Committee, as a head of the meeting accompanied by his colleagues.

His Excellency Yun Heng, Chairman of the meeting, introduced the members to the meeting that the Council for the Development of Cambodia is the institution in charge of attracting investors and approving investment projects in industry, Agri-industry, tourism and infrastructure. After hearing Mr. HUANG YUJIAO‘s introduction about the project of Chengdu Jiaolong industry Port, which is a highly innovative project, one of the most successful, especially after receiving the certificate, encouragement and support from the Royal Government of the People’s Republic of China, and also supporting from President Xi Jinping. On behalf of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) and also of the Royal Government of Cambodia, we are very proud and fully supportive that the Hong Kong Jiaolong Group intends to bring this successful business model and experience to invest in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

2. A Courtesy call and discussion at the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction.

On June 17, 2024 at 2:00 pm, the delegation from Hong Kong Jiaolong Group and the management team from Chhay Chingheang Group and their colleagues paid a courtesy call and discussed the work at the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction was chaired by H.E Tek Reth Samrech, Permanent Secretary of State, accompanied by his colleagues.

H.E Tek Reth Samrech, Chairman of the meeting, introduced the members to the meeting on the composition of the leadership and officials in charge of land of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction. In deciding to seek investment opportunities of Hong Kong Jiaolong Group in Cambodia on behalf of the Ministry and the Royal Government, we are very pleased and always welcome to invest in Cambodia. The Secretary of State emphasized that in Cambodia, foreign investors have the right to use land and can obtain construction permits from the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction. In case the company intends to invest in special economic zones or invest in the tourism or wants to establish a new city, he advised the company to study the potential of some provinces such as Kampong Speu, Kampot, Shihanoukville and Siem Reap or around Phnom Penh. All of these must first as for permission from the relevant ministries and institution.

3. Courtesy call and discussion at the Ministry of Commerce

On June 17, 2024 at 4:00 pm, the delegation of Hong Kong Jiaolong Group and the management team from Chhay Chingheang Group and their colleagues continued to pay a courtesy call and discuss work at the Ministry of Commerce, which has H. E Lim Lor Piseth, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, chaired the meeting, accompanied by his colleagues.

On that occasion, H.E Secretary of State warmly welcomed the presence of the delegation of Hong Kong Jiaolong Group and the management team from Chhay Chingheang Group and their colleagues, his informed about the achievements of the Royal Government, including the establishment of a free trade agreement with China, Korea, the United Arab Emirates and the ASEAN Agreement.

In addition, the Secretary of State highlighted the new law of Investment, which encouraged investors and thanked the above delegation for this meaningful meeting and encouraged further cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce.

In response, the Hong Kong Jiaolong Group delegation thanked the Ministry of Commerce for allowing the company to pay a courtesy call and discuss the work in person and to present the Chengdu Jiaolong industry Port project and core operations of the company which focus on urban development. On behalf of the Ministry of Commerce, we welcome and encourage the Hong Kong Jiaolong Group to invest in this new business model and successful experience in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
