The Investment and Commerce Development of Cambodia (ICDC) held discussions with the delegations
from the People’s Republic of China. The meeting was led by Mr. Zheng Xiaogang, Chairman of the
boardof Zhejiang Hongyu Energy Co., Ltd. along with representatives from affiliated companies.
The discussion focused on the development of an oil refining factory project aimed at supplying the Cambodian
market. The project plans to import raw materials from Malaysia and China.
In its first phase, the project will require approximately 25 hectares of land, which will include factories and
a private port, with an initial investment capital of $60 million USD. In the subsequent phase, the project
is expected to expand to cover 100 hectares.
